This is a combination of complex case sharing and simulated medicine.
In clinical practice, physicians often encounter rare but complex and critical situations, such as difficult airway management, sudden hypoxemia, circulatory collapse, or severe drug reactions. If not handled properly, these situations may lead to severe consequences. Case analysis enables healthcare providers to systematically review and reflect on these cases, thereby improving their understanding and response capabilities.
Simulation medicine allows clinical scenarios to be recreated in a safe, controlled, and repeatable environment, providing a powerful tool for case analysis.
Therefore, this initiative offers participants the opportunity to integrate the sharing of difficult cases with simulation-based medicine in a competitive setting. Through this approach, medical staff can enhance their ability to respond to rare but life-threatening events, strengthen teamwork and communication, and gain valuable experience in a risk-free environment. Ultimately, it serves to advance patient safety and foster continuous improvement in the quality of care.
